Love how the comment box won’t let me see what I’m typing after 3 lines. Sorry about the typos, I really do know how to spell stereotype and the word “But”.
Badger, I think you were too nice to her.

I am an introvert, but extroversion is better than introversion. Fake it if you can.

Geez, I never knew there was so much hating on extroverts until recently. But the myths and misconceptions about extroverts are so outrageous they make me laugh. My take is, extroverts feel like they’re misunderstood and misrepresented by the outliers of this personality type, and introverts, being introspective by nature, think they have most of us figured out. I’m about 53% E and 47% I on the MBTI test, so I’m a fairly good mix, but I’ve always been more E. That being said, I don’t think I’m anywhere as near as annoying as some of these supposed characteristics of extroverts are.
Myth 4. Extroverts don’t want to hear what you have to say.
Maybe it’s my anthropology background or non-egocentric POV, but I’ve always been interested in what people had to say. Not only that, but I’ve always liked to know what makes people tick, why they think a certain way, and I try to see things their way, unbiased. Sometimes if their opinion enlightens me and I think is better than mine, I’ll end up siding with them and forgo mine.
